Thanks a million!

I needed to make some thank you cards so I thought that this image from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff over at Aurora Wings would be perfect.  She is called "Red Poppies" and is available from Aurora Wings Etsy Store.

I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers (mainly aqua, duck egg blue and turquoise).  I highlighted areas with the Graph'it white pen which is amazing along with my clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.  You MUST get one.  I've tried so many white pens but nothing works as well as this in my opinion and I know Nikky Hall from Polkadoodles certainly says the same and it's her advice I went with to try one.  I have inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Chipped Sapphire distress inks.

I have kept the card monochrome as I felt it worked well.  The backing papers are from a free magazine CD and the papers are called "Happy Days".  I won some of these papers in a challenge as a paper pad but they very soon ran out so as soon as I saw the magazine advertised with these papers on the CD I had to have it.

I have used a scroll stamp and stamped onto turquoise blue tissue paper, die-cut with a scallop circle die, scrunched the layers and held together with a brad.

I have finished the card off with a Joanna Sheen bunting die, gingham ribbon, gems, die-cut sentiment and some Joanna Sheen confetti die-cut butterflies (this is one of my favourite dies at the moment.  Sometimes you want just tiny butterflies and these are perfect.  A small foam pad sits on the back and the die cuts out 8 of these little butterflies at a time and all for the cost of £2.99 for the die.  Amazing value).

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
