Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge - Friday 11 October 2013 - Sparkle and shine

It is time for another challenge over at the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge Blog.  This fortnight the challenge is "sparkle and shine".

 Although it is a Team B Challenge I have made a card as well.  I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by the ever so talented Ching-Chou Kuik called "Northern Nightfall".  It is available as a digital stamp, single rubber stamp or as part of a multi-image plate (Sheet 54, Plate 249 - Northern Nightfall comes on the multi-image plate with Black Swan Lady, Love Magic and Crane of Peace).

I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers, highlighted areas with my Pan Pastels and then gone around the edge of the image, its mount and other adornments to the card with Imagination Crafts Diamond Sparkle Medium.

  

The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs Gingham and Mini Dots.  I have finished the card off with some sparkly peel-off swirls, Spellbinders butterfly (that had the Sparkle Medium rubbed onto it), gems, raffia ribbon, gingham ribbon, die-cut sentiment and flowers (which also had the Sparkle Medium treatment!!).
