Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 11 October 2013

 It is Friday and time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.  This time the topic is "golden brown" (this is a Stranglars track - for this challenge we want to see lots of autumnal golds and browns).
For my card I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Maid of the Riverbank".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers/Flexmarkers and distressed around the edge with Tim Holtz's Gathered Twigs distress ink.  The backing papers are from Sumemrtime Designs.  I have die-cut two shapes and put them through two different embossing folders.  One I have inked with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs distress ink and the other with Mustard Seed distress ink.  I have finished the the card off with some punched out leaves which I have edged with distress ink, fibres, gems and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.

    I'm having great difficulty in drawing my eyes away from your card to comment Kym. The depth of colout that you have achieved using Brown and Gold is stunning and gives your card such a look of luxury.
