In the Pink Challenge - 25 July 2013

Over at the "In the Pink Challenge Blog" this fortnight the challenge is "hot pink".  Well that was certainly a challenge for me as I tend to avoid bright colours but decided to go the "whole hog" and colour the lady's hair bright pink!!!  The image I have used is from Sweet Pea Stamps and by Rebecca Sinz.  It is called "Bleeding Hearts" and can be purchased as a single digital stamp, single rubber stamp or a multi-image plate (Sheet 14, Plate 242 - Bleeding Hearts comes with the images Deadly Night Shade, Forget me Not and Sweet Pea).  I have coloured the image with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and highlighted areas with my Pan Pastels.  The hot pink backing paper I have used is from Summertime Designs.  I have finished the card off with a doily, ribbon, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, flowers, gems and washi tape.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Ladybug Crafts - Something floral
