Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge - 7 October 2011

It's time for a change again at the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge Blog.  We are going to stay fortnightly but instead of having two mini Design Team we are going to be one big Design Team again.  The fortnight the challenge topic is "thankful".
I decided to keep my colours on my card very autumnal as I do like this season apart from when we change the clocks here in the UK.  For my card I have used the Ching Chou-Kuik Sweet Pea Stamp called Forest Blue.  She was one of my first Sweet Pea Stamps and still one of my all time favourites and I love to see people colour her in totally different colours.  My dotty backing paper is Dovecraft's Sugar and Spice collection and I have inked the edges to distress along with the blue/grey card and image.  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, highlighted areas with Stickles glitter glue, die-cut the image and then distressed around the edge with an ink pad.  The card has been finished off with some pearl pins, punched out leaves using 3 different X-cut punches, lace, Marianne Designs scrolls with Stickles added to them, sentiment from Craftwork Cards and some gorgeous tiny sunflowers.
