Chrissie and Mandi over at the Less is More Challenge Blog have challenged us to a one layer card with a heart/hearts on it. Well I searched and I searched and I had no heart shaped stamps - terrible isn't it - so I printed off two different heart shapes on the computer and used them as a mask. I then stamped through them using various See D's stamps (I love these little flower/enhancing sets for this very reason - I shall have to keep an eye out to get some more when I see them being sold off). I used Tim Holtz's Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar and Forest Moss and a Plum Memento stamp using various flower/leaf and scroll stamps. The card is finished off with a Jayne Nesterenko stamped sentiment and a few gems.
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Mark's Finest Papers - No design papers
Creative Inspirations - Single layer card
Papercraft Star - A leaf
I Did it Creations - Anything goes

This technique works brilliantly Kym, actually I would love to have seent the heart just a little lower on the card, nearer to the centre of the card, but it's really pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
