My Blogoversary Blog Candy

My blogoversary is looming for 23 October 2009. It will be two years since I started my blog. Only really in the last year or so I have been regularly updating my blog. I have met some wonderful people during this time and formed such friendships - amazing when I've never even met the people in question. In 2009 I vowed that I would take part in more challenges to gain more ideas/inspiration and I think I have managed to do that. Doing this I have met more wonderful and caring people that have supported me throughout the year. As they know I make my cards solely to sell to raise funds for different charities, I often receive requests for my address and then I get items they longer need, items they have bought especially for me to use or things like stamped images which I can use for challenge cards thus making more cards for various stalls/outlets I have for my charity cards.

To thank you all for all that you have given me throughout the years, whether it be material things or even just making a comment on my blog or a challenge I have undertaken I have decided to offer up some blog candy as a special thank you. The offer of this blog candy ends on 30/10/09 even though my blogoversary is 23 October but my Mum kindly looked after my children last week-end so that my husband and I could go away for my 40th birthday and this time away let me visit some craft shops like Crab Apple Crafts (Rosemary Merry's Shop - scrapbooking expert off QVC) and Topaz Crafts (Dawn Bibby's Shop - the Queen of Craft on QVC) where I picked up some "bits and pieces". It isn't humongous in cost this blog candy compared to some but I have bought all the items myself rather than coming from my kitty and they've then come from the heart.

There are various things in this blog candy including tag books, larger tag books, flowers, ribbons, eyelets, two chalk inkpads, two small sets of stamps, some buttons and a set of Penny Black stamps (can't I keep these for myself???

What do you have to do to be in with a chance of this blog candy you ask. Well you need to do the following:

1. Feel free to become a follower as I'd love people to see what I get up to but it isn't a requirement of being listed as a candidate for this blog candy as I don't want to force people to look at my blog - I hope they'd like to look at it

2. Please provide a link to my blog candy on your blog to promote it

3. Provide a comment below and all names will be placed in a hat and either one of my sons or husband will pull the "name out of the hat" on 1 November 2009 and I will give details of the winner on my blog and I will also contact the winner personally

4. Enjoy in the knowledge that every visitor to my blog and those that have also left me comments mean the world to me. It is hard sometimes with other commitments to visit blogs but when people take the time to come and visit me in means the world.

PS Thank you Chrissie for the instructions on how to do this. Chrissie was the one who taught me how to add links to other blogs so I knew who to go to for help!!! Angie, thanks for your help as well. I followed these instructions - the same as Chrissie's - and it seems to have worked this morning!!!
