Here is my inspiration post.

For my final card this month I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Silentness - Greyscale".

I have coloured the image with Promarkers.

The blue/purple papers I have used are scraps from a pad from The Works.

I have finished the card off with two Cheery Lynn borders, die-cut feathers and some pearls.

Here is a birthday card I have made for my friend I have known since my school days.

For my my card I have used a CraftsUPrint kit by Gillian Hutchison called "Can I smell Cake?".

For my my card I have used the main topper/decoupage/insert/ small toppers/backing paper.

I have finished the card off with some ribbon, tag from the kit and die-cuts for my friend's name.

Owl Always Love You!

It is Valentine's Day today so I have made my husband a very special card.

I have used a kit I bought from CraftsUPrint by Gillian Hutchinson (Pixel Lane) called "Owl Always Love You!".  

In the kit you get so much including toppers, envelope, inserts and sentiments.

I have used various brown backing papers from Summertime Designs (sadly no longer available).

I have finished the card off with some dotty ribbon, Glossy Accents to the buttons and eyes of the owls and die-cut some hearts out of sticky backed cork and because the cork was too light I coloured it with Tim Holtz's Tea Dye distress ink.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 13 February 2023

The Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group challenge for February 2023 is "ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES".

Here is my inspiration post.

For my mermaid themed card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Sea Rose".

I opted to use the image with the circular frame.  I have coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut out.

I have used various papers from my stash and cut with my Tim Holtz deckle edged trimmer and added some blue Versa Magic ink pad around all of the layers.  For the background I have used a blue Pan Pastel and then ink through a circular stencil for the bubbles in the water and have highlighted these with Glossy Accents.

I have finished off a die-cut seahorse, stamped sentiment, Stamps by Chloe foliage stamp stamped onto acetate and heat embossed with a bronze embossing powder, three blue dew drops and a stamped and some die-cut shells.

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.

I received a shaped card for my birthday two years ago and said I would make one myself and so I have 2 years later!!  It took me a while to work out the idea for the card but I got there in the end.

The papers I have used are from The Works.

I have finished the card off with die-cut feathers, bought flowers, Sentimentally Yours banners and a stamped sentiment.
