Here is the Valentine's Day card for my hubby using a kit called "Sloths Just Chillin" by Janet Briggs over at CraftsUPrint. The image is a lot brighter but with the mirri card it was a nightmare to take a photo of so I had to do at a weird angle.
For the card for my husband I have used the decoupage sheet with lots of layers, insert and two sentiments.
The backing papers I have used are from my stash.
I have finished the card off with some die-cut hearts which I then put through a dotty embossing folder, two different grosgrain ribbons and a stamped sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

what a unique way to create a LOVE card using sloth as the main focus. I also enjoyed the foil heart that you added for the texture. Thank you for playing with us at C4G
ReplyDeleteKym: What a wonderful card you've created for your hubby! The sloths are charming and the ornate 'picture' frame corners elevate it to elegant! The bit of shine of the mirror foil cardstock, ribbons, and hearts keep adding to the elegance. Thanks for participating for MTTC! --Becca/DT/MTTC
ReplyDeleteHi Kym,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a very wonderful card and I love the images of the sloths and your hearts.
Such a very lovely design also.
My late hubby was keen photographer and he gave me tips on photographing my cards.
I don't use a flash but instead I use 2 lights and a white bacground except if it's a white on white card then I use a black or dark background and I put the camera on Macro.
I don't know if that helps you but it works for me.
Thank you for joining the MAWTT Challenge yet again.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT
