Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 11 January 2021
Today is the day for me to show you my first creation for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group for January 2021.
Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is:
"HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY” eg Happy New Year or Happy Birthday or Happy Christmas or even happy to get new crafting goodies.
This week the Design Team were challenged to "LET'S GO NEUTRAL" eg white/cream/black/grey or brown.
I personally found this a very hard challenge but it's not a challenge if all the time the topics are easy is it?
With being the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Blog and Facebook Challenge Design Team Leader I need a book every year to write all my notes in.
This started off as a plain black spiral bound notebook from Sainsburys.
I started off with tearing up and screwing up bits of tissue paper and sticking on the front to add some texture and dimension. I then used various gold/copper/brown/black inks with lots of different texture stamps and stamped onto the tissue paper background to add some detail.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Debbi Moore Thank You Cards
Here are three thank you cards I have made using Debbi Moore "Journey to Wonderland CD", "Build a Bunch Dimensional CD" and "Poppy Dreams CD".
For my three cards I have used backing papers, design sheets, inserts and decoupage sheet.
For the poppy card I have finished the card off with a die-cut Tonic doily used above and below the image, die-cut butterflies, stamped sentiment and raffia ribbon.
For the rose card I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment and a die-cut butterfly.
For the rabbit card I have finished it off with a stamped sentiment and ribbon.

Creatalicious - Anything goes with the option of good luck and charms
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Happy Christmas
Here is a Christmas card I made but haven't posted.
I have used the Sentimentally Yours Trudie Howard stamp set called "Festive Jumper". I did try using a stamping reverse plate but I couldn't get an image I was happy with even using a black for the reverse image and a grey for the main image. Instead I did masking and put the images side-by-side. I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire distress ink.
I have used my Sentimentally Yours Elegant Eyelet Squares Dies for the matts and layers using plain cardstock and The Works patterned paper.
I have finished the card off quite simply with some ribbon, stamped sentiment and a twine bow.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thanks
The card and layers have been made using my Sentimentally Yours Elegant Eyelet Square Dies. I love this dies but those pesky little pieces from the eyelet holes get everywhere. You think you've got them all and next time you come to craft you find even more. This time though the eyelet pieces were saved and I used them in my shaker card - waste not, want not I say!!
The backing papers I have used from The Works and the card is made with my wood effect Dolly Dimples card which is excellent quality.
Fingers crossed the recipients like it!!
We Love to Create - Anything mixed media goes
2 Crafty Critters - Anything goes with critters
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Stamping Sensations - Favourite stamps (I have quite a few Stampendous stamp sets now and love their quality and ease of use and who could not resist getting these cute little dogs?)
