Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 14 September 2020

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is:

 "THINK PINK FOR BREAST CANCER".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "DECORATIVE BORDERS".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.  

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Above the Dirt".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, added white Posca pen highlights and cut around the image.  I love how there are parts of the image outside the frame.

For the main piece of backing paper I used various scraps of different papers from The Works and just stuck them down here and there to fill up the front of the 6x6 inch card.  It is a good way to use up small scraps of paper you are loathe to put in the bin.

I have used my The Works stitched detail circle dies to cut two mounts underneath the image and then added some lace under the bottom layer.

I have finished the card off with a decorative butterfly border on both sides of the card, LOTV digital sentiment and some die-cut butterflies.
