Colour Crazy Challenge Blog - Friday 1 November 2019

 Good morning.  It is time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog.

The topic this week is "anything goes".

PLEASE NOTE:  We are a colouring challenge and therefore to take part in the challenge you MUST have coloured something on your card/creation and you MUST specify the colouring medium you have used.

This week we are lucky to have "Polkadoodles" as our sponsor.

I have this stand a customer brought me back from Australia when I first started crafting.  I thought it could do with a new image standing in it.  I had an idea of doing a lollipop style.  Once it was all stuck together it looks like the hippo is hanging down from a balloon but that was not my intention - it's amazing how creations in your head can change when you actually start making them!!

For my project I have used the Polkadoodles image called "Swingin' By to Say Hi".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, backed onto another piece of card (to hide the bleed of the alcohol pens) and then fussy cut out.

I made the four different sized rosettes using a Tim Holtz Sizzix rosette die and cut two strips and stuck them together for each layer.

I have finished my project off with some Tim Holtz shabby flowers, Nuvo drops, LOTV sentiment and a coffee shop stirrer.

The Promarkers that I have used are: 

Unicorn - Yellow, Canary, Sunkissed Pink, Coral, Soft Green, Mint Green, Ice Grey 1, Ice Grey 2, Ice Grey 3, Arctic Blue, Powder Blue

Swing - Sunkissed Pink, Coral, Pastel Green, Pear Green, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Lemon and Yellow.
