Here is my inspiration post with this theme.
For my bright and cheery card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Monarch Butterfly" (it comes in a set along with the image "Two Ladybugs". I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.
For my "make your own background" I have used Broken China and Wilted Violet distress oxide refills to colour the piece of card. I have then used a flower stamp from a Creative Stamping magazine and stamped around in various shades of purple ink. I then used used a greenery stamp and also a branch effect stamp to add some more effect in purples and blue.
I have finished my card off with some lace, sentiment and two Prima butterflies which were grey but I coloured with Promarkers to match the colour scheme.
The Promarkers that I have used are:
Butterfly - Orchid, Amethyst, Purple, Orange, Duck Egg and Turquoise
Flowers/stalks - Orchid, Amethyst, Purple, leaf Green and Bright Green
Background - Powder Blue, Arctic Blue and Sky Blue.
