Happy Halloween

Whilst away recently I coloured in this Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Moon" with my Promarkers and highlighted areas with my white gel pen and my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen.

I keep things like Halloween and Christmas papers separate so I went to my Halloween folder and used various pieces of scraps.  I am not sure where they all came from but the spider's webs that I cut out were from Bearlymine Designs which is sadly no longer available.

I have finished the card off with a torn piece of cheesecloth, stamped sentiment and a die-cut spider - yikes!!!!

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Orchid, Lavender and Lilac
Dress/hat/gloves - Pumpkin, Amber, Apple, Poppy, Plum, Aubergine.
Moon - Ivory, Buttercup and Pastel Yellow
Cat - Ice Grey 1 and Ice Grey 2

Colour Crazy Challenge Blog - Friday 19 October 2018

Good morning.  It is time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog.

The topic this week is "anything goes".

PLEASE NOTE:  We are a colouring challenge and therefore to take part in the challenge you MUST have coloured something on your card/creation and you MUST specify the colouring medium you have used.
We are lucky to have "All Dressed Up" as our sponsor this week.
For my Christmas card I have used the All Dressed Up image called "Christmas Robins".  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and inked around the edge with a green chalk ink pad.

I have used a Debbi Moore Inspiration Magazine paper at the back.

The mount underneath the image is one that I have created with different ink pads and stamps.  As the image had musical notes on it I have added some musical notes to the paper I have created as well.

The card has been finished off with my new die from Crafter's Companion's A Winter's Tale and I have used the greenery stalk in the large and medium size with various coloured green scraps of card.  I have used the pine cone die and stuck it onto some brown card and cut out.  I then just added some red gems to the card.

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Robins - Caramel, Cocoa, Burnt Sienna, Lipstick Red, Red, Ice Grey 2 and Carmine.
Merry Christmas/Star/Musical Notes - Leaf Green, Bright Green and Gold.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 19 October 2018

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "HALLOWEEN".

This week the Design Team were challenged by Nicola to make a shaped card.

He
re is my inspiration post with this theme.
I decided to make a side-stepper Halloween card.  I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Exotic Halloween".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and highlighted areas with my white pen.

I actually made the side stepper using the image as a guide where to cut the side stepped part like Debbi Moore often does on her shows on the TV.  I then inked the card with my Faded Jeans, Broken China and Chipped Sapphire distress inks.  I then used those inks along with my Black Soot distress ink to stamp various Halloween stamps on the side-stepper, remembering on the side-stepper that some images might have been upside down on the stepper if I had not thought about it beforehand.

I have finished off the card with some wide grey organza (which was a wrap that came with my formal dress so as I did not want to use it with the dress I have chopped it up for use on my cards/mixed media projects), stamped/coloured/Glossy accents pumpkins, stamped sentiment, die-cut bats, bow and button.

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Poppy, Spice and Ice Grey 4
Dress - Poppy, Red, Spice and Carmine
Candle/pumpkins - Buttercup, Ivory, Yellow, Spice, Orange and Ice Grey 3.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Digi Doodle - Pink for breast cancer awareness or Halloween
Love to Craft - Anything goes
Crafts Galore Encore - Anything goes
Morgan's Artworld October Challenge - Anything goes
We Love to Create - Anything creative/mixed media goes
