Welcome to another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.
The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".
Oh me oh my this card has been a nightmare to photograph and I am still not happy with it now. The camera with/without the flash is just bouncing off the pearlescent coating of the card and also the sentiment.
For my card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Dandelions". I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and fussy cut her out.
The backing paper I have used is from a Debbi Moore Inspiration Magazine which thankfully matched the image perfectly as I coloured her up before picking the paper. Normally I pick the paper and then colour the image to match. What do you do?
I have used a piece of Centura pearl card and embossed with a dandelion embossing folder and sanded back to the core.
I have finished the card off with some flowers with brad centres, ribbon (underneath the lace), lace and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.
Promarkers used:
Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Cocoa, Cinnamon and Burnt Sienna
Dress - Duck Egg, Turquoise, Salmon Pink and Cocktail Pink.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteAarrgh, isn’t it frustrating when you can’t get a good photo?? I recently felt the same way!! This card is gorgeous though. And I think your photo is great as well. I love your layout. I try to pick the paper first and then color but sometimes I’m all over the place and that doesn’t always work out for me.. 🤪 Thanks so much for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
