Colour Crazy Challenge Blog - Friday 29 June 2018

 Good morning.  It is time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog.

The topic this week is "anything goes".

PLEASE NOTE:  We are a colouring challenge and therefore to take part in the challenge you MUST have coloured something on your card/creation.

 We are lucky to have "Bugaboo Stamps" as our sponsor this week.

For my card I have used a gorgeous unicorn image from the "Birthday Unicorn Set 02" and I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and highlighted the balloon the the unicorn's eyelids with a gold Graphmaster pen.

For the background I have used various backing papers created my friend Lozzy (I have used papers from "It's Stripes" and "Grid") and two papers from a Debbi Moore's Inspiration Magazine.

I have finished the card off with some wide purple satin ribbon, light purple lace, die-cut flowers/trims and some gems.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 22 June 2018

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Just a reminder that the Monthly Blog Challenge topic is "CATS OR DOGS".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "FAIRIES" by Aurora.

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Misty Moon".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.  I then covered over the whole image with Pebeo drawing gum.  I then used my Spectrum Noir Aquamarkers to make the background and then used various dotty stamps with come blue, yellow and light brown Versa Magic chalk ink pads.  I then rubbed off the Pebeo drawing gum and added Stickles glitter glue to the fairy's wings.

The papers I have used are from The Works.

I have finished the card off with some ribbon (underneath the lace so the colour can be seen through the lace), lace, Sue Wilson die-cut greenery from silver mirri card, flowers cut from backing papers The Works paper pad, pearl brads and some gems.

Promarkers used: 

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Cinnamon, Caramel and Sandstone

Dress - Cool Grey I, Yellow and and Sunflower

Moon - Vanilla and Saffron.

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 19 June 2018

Welcome to another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".

For my birthday card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Sailor Dress".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and chalked the background with pearlescent chalks for a subtle effect.

I recently won a Creative Crafting World Challenge and my prize was a set of 2 CDs, the Lace Collection Volume 1 and 2.  The papers are gorgeous so I have used a dotty/lace one and a stripe/lace one.

As the little girl was holding a sunflower I have used some stamps I got with a magazine last year as I had to have it as I loveeeeeeeeee sunflowers.  I stamped the sunflowers, coloured with Promarkers, used a pearl dimensional pen for the centre of the flower and cut out and cut down between every 2-3 petals so I could curl for more dimension.  I used a greenery die I got from a friend for Christmas and finally used a stamped sentiment to finish off the card.

Hair - Henna, Walnut and Raw Sienna

Dress/socks/shoes - Denim Blue, Cyan, Azure, Poppy and Crimson

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 15 June 2018

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "CATS OR DOGS".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "PINK AND/OR BLUE" and here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my mainly pink card I have used a grayscale image called "Dark Lillies" (which comes in a set along with Flowing in Blue and Hello Spring).  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.

The backing card I have used are all patterned cards from Hunkydory.

I have finished the card off with some lace threaded with some pink fibres, organza ribbon bow, button, stamped sentiment and some pearls.

Hair - Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna and Ginger
Flowers - Cerise, Fuchsia Pink, Pink Carnation and Gold

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 8 June 2018

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

The challenge this month is "CATS or DOGS".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Shih Tzu".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.

The backing papers are from a Debbi Moore Inspiration magazine.

I have finished the card off with some fibres, die-cut sentiment, doily that I stitched around the edge with some embroidery thread, Nuvo pearl drops and little roses cut out of the backing paper.

Dog - Cinnaomon, Sandstone, Khaki, Caramel and Pastel Blue

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 5 June 2018

  Welcome to another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".

 I need to keep up with making Christmas cards throughout the year so I have a Christmas card using the Lemon Shortbread image called "Winter Package".  I have coloured my image with Promarkers, added Stickles glitter glue to the fur on her coat and then fussy cut out the image.
