Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 24 April 2018

 Welcome to another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".
I decided to go with a shabby chic style of 60s groove card.  For my card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Dance to the Groove".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and used the colour scheme of brown and pink.

The backing papers are by Sara Davies from Crafter's Companion and were a freebie with one of the magazines I bought before Christmas.  On the top piece of backing paper I used a Sheena Douglass groovy stencil and inked through with Tim Holtz's Tea Die distress ink.

I have finished the card off with some pink satin ribbon, white lace, die-cut flowers made from scraps of the leftover paper with some having brad Centres and others having Ranger Sepia Glossy Accents into the centre. doily and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.

Promarkers used: 

 Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal 
Hair - Raw Sienna, Cinnamon and Cocoa
Dress/hat - Cocktail Pink, Salmon Pink, Antique Pink and Cocoa.
