It is time for another challenge over at the Crafty Purple Frog Challenge Blog.
The topic for this month is "lovely ladies".
For my card I have used a Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Glowing Dazzle". I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and edged around the image with Tim Holtz's Gathered Twigs distress ink.
The backing papers I have used are from First Edition Storyteller paper pad. These are a beautiful quality of papers. I used the pattered piece and tore around the edges and inked with the Gathered Twigs distress ink. With a piece of purple paper from the pad I used a pricking template, pierced the holes and then hand-stitched with orange embroidery thread. I used two matching pieces of purple and orange card and put them through my Crafter's Companion Textures Distress embossing folder and then inked over with my Gathered Twigs distress ink.
I have finished the card off with a Dovecraft "Friends" stamped sentiment and some Dovecraft Bohemian sequins.
