World Champion

Here is a birthday card I have made using a Paper Shelter image called "World Champion".

For my card I have used the digital stamp which I have coloured with my Promarkers.  I have printed off two images so I could do some decoupage.  Along with the image you got the "World Champion" background.  The blue paper at the back is from The Paper Shelter "Gothic Girl" 6x6 digital paper set.

I have finished the card off with some ribbon, stamped sentiment and some stamped footballs using a See D's stamp and cut with a circle punch.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 24 February 2017

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 This week I have made a birthday card for a very special friend who, like me, loves Ching-Chou Kuik images.  For Christmas my friend bought me some nautical dies so I knew I had to use these to make her card.

 I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik "Bon Voyage my Love" and made sure I printed it off small enough to go in my porthole Marianne Designs die.  I coloured my image in with Promarkers and used Pan Pastels for the background.

 For the backing papers, printed toppers and embellishments I used my new Debbi Moore Shabby Chic Nautical CD.  When I saw this I knew I had to have it.

 I have used lots of different dies, wavy tearing ruler, fishing net and pearls to finish off the card.

Over at the Kit and Clowder Facebook Group there is a competition on at the moment sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik.  All entries need to use the image "Gentle as Breeze" which is discounted in the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Store for this competition.

The theme for the competition is "your favourite colours".

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.

The backing papers I have used are Sweet Dixie Spring Sentiments.

I have finished the card off with some pink ribbon (underneath the lace), lace, pink fibres threaded through the lace, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, buttons, die-cut butterflies coloured in with my purple Promarker and some pearls.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Wreath of Nature".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used chalks for the background.  I have added some Stickles glitter glue to the flowers/berries on the wreath.

I'm Mad About You

Here is the Valentine's Day card I have made for my husband.

I have used my Debbi Moore Journey to Wonderland CD and have used this cat bearing his teeth - and his teeth are certainly in a better shape than mine as I have serious problems with mine!!

I have used a decoupage sheet, sentiment and backing paper off the CD.

I have finished the card off with some ribbon and some gems.

I Love You

The image I have used is by Conie Fong.  I can't seem to see it in her Etsy Store.  That said there are some gorgeous images in the Store so why not pop on over and have a look.

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used shimmer chalks on the background.

The backing papers are from a Carta Bella pad called "Words of Love" by Carina Gardner.

I have finished my card off with a Dovecraft Back to Basics heart shaped doily, sentiment from the paper pad, kisses ribbon and some Imagination Crafts Detail Sparkle for the dots around the edge of the card.

Crafty Purple Frog Challenge - February 2017 - Love is all around

 I was recently asked by Amy if I would like to join the Crafty Purple Frog Design Team.  I have worked in the past with Amy before so it didn't take me long to say "yes".

Amy has her own online shop "The Purple Frog" so why not pop on over and have a look at the goodies she has in the shop.

 For my card I have used a Sherri Baldy Besties image (image 872) and I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.

The backing papers I have used are from a Sweet Dixie Spring Sentiments paper pad.

I have finished the card off with a Dovecraft Back to Basics heart doily edged with Tim Holtz's Victorian Velvet distress ink, stamped hearts, stamped sentiment, ribbon and little daisies cut from the backing paper.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group February Challenge - Sing me a Love Song

Today is the start of the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group Monthly Challenge.

The topic for the challenge this month is "sing me a love song".  As soon as I saw the topic I knew which song it had to be.  When my husband and I were first going out we spent a lot of time apart as were chefs.  Our song was "I've been missing you" by Chris de Burgh and we even had it played for the first dance at our wedding.  Since hearing that song I got to like other songs by this artist and therefore the song I've used for this challenge is "Lady in Red" by Chris de Burgh.

I decided to make a journal double page spread.

I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "It's all about love" and coloured the image in with my Promarkers.

I used various red/pink distress inks to colour the pages.  I then used a mask and inked through with the same colours.  I printed out the lyrics for the song and then used a tearing ruler around this and the image.  I then used some of my new music stamps, a heart Visible Image stamp, a "The One" sentiment by Visible Image, some hearts cut out from a Debbi Moore magazine, die-cut some hearts out of vellum and Papermania Glitterations.
