Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps - New releases

 Today sees the arrival of a set of 4 new images in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store:

 They are a set of 4 Spring  mermaid/fairy images called "Spring Night", "Fantasy Easter Ocean", "Spring Nocturne" and "Spring Twilight".  

They are available at a special introductory price of $5.50 (instead of $8.00) until the end of  3 February 2017.

Happy 70th Birthday

 A friend at work is celebrating her 70th birthday so I have made her a special card and decorated box.

 For the card and box I have made I have used my Debbi Moore Glitter and Glitz Art Deco Rome CD.  I have used various backing papers, decoupage, toppers and embellishments.

 I have used various embellishments like lace, flowers from the CD, ribbon, pearls and sentiment to finish off the card and box.  Around the box I used a flat layer of washi tape on the the bottom layer and pleated the washi tape on the top of the box.

Hand Painted Watercolour Clipart by Ching-Chou Kuik

  There is a new hand painted watercolour clipart collection in the Etsy Store today called "Spring Woodland Fantasy" that has been designed by Ching-Chou Kuik.  

The collection is available in the Etsy Store for an introductory price of £2.23 and you will receive 10 images in both a PNG (transparent background) and JPEG format (white background).

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 I decided to make a calendar to sit by my computer.  Of course I decided to go for one of Ching-Chou Kuik's unicorn images.  It was hard to pick one but in the end I went for "Northern Nightfall".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and made the dramatic skyline with Pan Pastels.

 The backing papers I have used are from my stash and the music backing paper was from a Debbi Moore CD.

I have finished this calendar off with some gems, calendar tab, seaweed dies with Stickles glitter glue added onto them and a die-cut butterfly with Stickles glitter glue added onto it.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 13 January 2017

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "USE SOMETHING NEW".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "all about the blues".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Poppy Glamour".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used Pebeo drawing gum and put splodges on the background, allowed to dry, coloured over with my Promarkers and then rubbed off the drawing gum.

I have finished the card off with some die-cut butterflies which I have coloured with Promarkers and stamped with a new harlequin stamp, stamped sentiments, new lace (isn't it gorgeous?) and some ribbon.

Commissioned Card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary

 I was asked by a friend to make a special Golden Wedding Anniversary card for her mum and dad.

 I managed to find a kit on CraftsuPrint that was suitable.

 Although the elements were for an envelope-style card I did my own thing with the papers and toppers to make my own style of card.

 The card was finished but it just needed something extra ....... a nicely decorated box for it to be delivered in.

This is a picture of the card inside the box and the decorated box.

I mainly used embellishments as part of the kit but I did add gold ribbon, button, die-cut sentiments and gold tissue paper.

Calendars 2017

Here are are a selection of some calendars I made for people instead of Christmas cards.  I thought the recipients could make use of them all year round:

 The calendars I made all used images from CraftsUPrint.  The set is called "Bella's Bumper Kit".

 The backing papers I used are from various Debbi Moore magazines and some papers from Lozzy's Paper Store.

Happy Birthday to Ching-Chou Kuik

 Today is a special day for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog Design Team and the Facebook Group Design Team as it is Ching-Chou Kuik's birthday.

As a nice surprise to her we have arranged a separate challenge whereby we needed to "make a tag".  All of the Design Team members that could take part were all given the "Magic Wish" image to use.  It's amazing to see all the different makes with the same image.

I made a tag shape out of corrugated card and painted it with Imagination Crafts pearl Stardust paint with a tiny bit of lilac chalk paint. I have used the image called "Magic Wish" and coloured her in with Promarkers and fussy cut around her.

Under the cheescloth I have cut out various different circles to look like water bubbles. I have used a Marianne Designs greenery die and cut out in various shades of purple and added a silver one underneath to accent the one above.

I have finished the card off with a sentiment, gem stalk, shells, ribbons and a charm.
