Birthday Wishes

Here is a birthday card I have made using a La-La Land digital image called "Heart Marci Cupcake".  Isn't she a beauty?  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers about 4 weeks ago but not long after starting two of my Promarkers, purple and amethyst died on me so it was a source on the internet for some replacements and once they arrived I could finish the image off.  The moral of the story is maybe don't keep using my favourite colour on a lot of images or as soon as I start one I buy a replacement as it will get used!!

The backing papers were from a Crafter's Companion Inspiration CD.  I like this CD as you choose your main colour, click and there are many papers with that colour scheme.  Perfect for instant matching of papers and I always have to print out purple papers as I again use too many!!

I have finished this card off with some lace, ribbon, buttons, sentiment and some sparkly gems.
