Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog - Kym's Inspiration Post - Friday 8 January 2016

Due to a Design Team member leaving I am now posting my inspiration posts on a Friday for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.  It's going to take me a long while getting used to as I was panicking on Monday when my project wasn't showing on the blog and then I realised I now post on a Friday!!

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "Use something new".
For my "Happy New Year" card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Let's go party".  I have added Stickles glitter glue to the wings and moon.  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and dotted around the image with yellow, pink, blue and green.  It took a very long time to build up the colour but well worth it in the end.

I have used a piece of paper from The Works.

I have die-cut two different clocks and added a stamped sentiment to the larger one.  I have die-cut some flowers and used a new stamp by Finnabair and it is distressed so I used my Tim Holtz's Stormy Sky to stamp it onto the flower layers, scrunched them up, edged with a chalk ink pad and added some buttons.

I have finished the card off with two Marianne Designs die-cuts and ribbon.

So what is "something new"?  That has to be my new distressed stamp, the new chalk ink pad and I recently won a challenge sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and in the order they added some new "Happy New Year 2016" ribbon as a freebie.
