It is time for me to show you my Inspiration Post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.
Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "the colours of fall eg browns, greens, yellows and oranges". Your card DOES NOT have to be Fall/Halloween related but just has to use the colours of fall.
This week the Design Team were challenged to use one of Ching-Chou Kuik's digital stamps that had an image with a cat or dog on it. We had lots to choose from and I chose to use the image called "Pug Love". Doesn't he look so sad???
I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and added the background with pearlescent chalks and inked around the edge with my Tim Holtz Stormy Sky distress ink.
For the actual shape of my card I used a Spellbinders die. The backing paper is a freebie from the Hunkydory Club.
I have finished the card off with a die-cut border, butterflies cut from the Hunkydory backing paper, raffia ribbon, peel-off sentiment, organza bow, button, flowers and some Nuvo crystal drops in purple. With my dodgy hands I struggle with a lot of bottle as they are just too stiff to squeeze like the Cosmic Shimmer ones but these Nuvo bottles are so soft. I love the brighter colours they have brought out recently so I had to buy some recently in Skegness at Cutting Edge Crafts. They do have an online store where these and many other items are sold.
