Today sees the start of another challenge over at the Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.
This month the challenge is "all creatures great and small".
To take part you do not have to use a Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp but we all do love to see them being used. If you do use a Ching-Chou Kuik image from her Etsy store you can enter the challenge twice, thus giving you two chances of winning. It also means that you could be "in the running" of winning the Artist Choice Award where Ching-Chou Kuik herself looks at all the entries using an image from her Etsy Store and the winner gets to pick 5 images free from the Etsy Store as their prize.
For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp called "New Leaves". I have coloured my image in with Promarkers. I have used blue, green, yellow, pink and peach chalks for the background and added some Tonic Studio liquid pearls.
The backing papers are all from my stash which I have had for years and years. One of the papers I embossed with my Crafter's Companion hessian embossing folder (think this is one of my favourite embossing folders now) and inked with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink along with a doily.
I have finished the card off with some ribbon, die-cut sentiment, owl charm held on with a brad, gems, some flowers given to me by a friend and a gorgeous MDF die-cut owl which a friend bought me for Christmas (he is so nice I have avoided using it but what is the point of keeping things as they were bought to be used!!).
It would be lovely if you could play along with the challenge this month.
