Over on the Lacy Sunshine Facebook Group the ever so talented Heather shared the image Izzybella Boo Cute as a Button image and wants people to colour the image and make into a creation and share as a contest and to use the theme of BUTTONS.
A good friend of mine Lozzy has been lucky enough to join the Lacy Sunshine Design Team. She is certainly one lucky lady to work with such amazing images. Enjoy!!
Here is the card I have made using the image. It is a special 5th birthday card for a little girl (the name of the person I have blanked out with a piece of card for the purpose of the photo only).
I have coloured my image in with my Promarkers and added some Glossy Accents to Izzybella Boo's eyes for some extra drama. For the background around the image I have used two shades of purple, yellow and pink chalks and blended. I then used a Debbi Moore button stamp with Versamark ink and then brushed over the pink and purple chalks to the stamped buttons.
The purple backing paper is from my stash. The gorgeous button backing paper is a freebie from the Hunkydory Club.
I have finished the card off with some ribbon, sentiment off the computer, die-cut buttons, real buttons and some buttons cut from the backing paper - yes button overload but then that is the them of the challenge!!
