It is Monday and therefore time for me to show you my Inspiration Post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.
Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "lovely lace". It would be lovely if you could take part.
This week I decided I would decorate an MDF tag. I covered both sides with gesso and then painted over some purple acrylic paint and then used a make-up sponge to swirl the purple paint around so it showed the gesso underneath as well.
I then used some Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste (Chic Viola) and some Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste (Chic Aubergine) that a friend bought me and I used it through a flower Dutch Doobadoo stencil that I won in a challenge.
The image I have used is Ching-Chou Kuik's "Pug Love". Doesn't that pug look to sad? I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers. I have used two purple, blue, pink and yellow pearlescent chalks for the background and then finally inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Shaded Lilac distress ink.
I have finished the tag off with some spider's web, raffia ribbon, flowers, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, organza ribbon bow and a button.
