Here is a birthday card I have made using a Sweet Pea Stamps image called "Amy Boo" by Heather Valentin. I have coloured my image in with Promarkers. I recently saw a show on Create and Craft with Rossella Cottrell. It was a pergamano show and she mentioned sticky glue and a mapping pen to add glitter to your projects. I know lots of people swear by Quickie Glue pens but I have tried no end over the years and just can't get to last and keep on working so I thought I'd give the sticky glue and mapping pen a go and am really pleased with the result. It now means I can use up the glitter I have in my craft stash.
The backing papers are from my stash. I have mounted the image on a Marianne's Designs die-cut which I have cut out of kraft card, threaded twine through it and inked the embossing with a brown chalk ink pad.
I have finished the card off with a die-cut sentiment, cherry blossom flowers, gems, organza ribbon bow and a button.
