Sweet Pea Stamps Facebook Group - Progressive Challenge Part 1 - 9 March - 22 March 2015

 It is time for another Part 1 of the Sweet Pea Stamps Facebook Group Progressive Challenge for 2015.  For Part 1 you can use any image from the Sweet Pea Stamps Store.  If you enter Part 1 you get an image to use for Part 2.  You can enter Part 2 without entering Part 1 but you would need to purchase the image.

 For my card I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by Janna Prosvirina called "Hot Chocolate Fairy".  I have coloured the image in keeping to pale tones of pink and brown with Promarkers and used pink, brown and the blender Pan Pastel for the background.  For the froth on the hot chocolate and around the image I have used Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste and then added on some cinnamon.  It gave a good look on the hot chocolate and also gave the card a lovely smell!!

The backing papers I have used are from The Works and I have embossed some card and rubbed over some brown Pan Pastel.

I have finished the card off with some grosgrain ribbon, Stickles glitter glue on the fairy's wings, die-cut sentiment, organza ribbon, pearl, lace and some flowers die-cut from felt.  As you can see from the picture above there is a nice sachet of hot chocolate to go along with the card.
