Well it is time to show you my card and give you details on how I made it for the Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. This month the challenge is "add some flowers and some ribbon".
For the first time we have all used the same image called "The Wild Princess".
For my "The Wild Princess" image I have coloured her with my Graph'it pens. I made the background darker than normal as I wanted it to match the backing papers I have used.
The backing papers I have used are from Buckwell Craft Supplies and they are "Swirly Dots" and "Funky Flowers" (I haven't actually used any of the flowery papers but in fact got the plain blue paper from this set). I have inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire distress inks.
I have finished the card off with a doily, die-cut sentiment, Prima butterfly which I have coloured with a Graph'it pen, die-cut swirls, wide grosgrain ribbon, 5mm cream pearls, white 15mm sweetheart blossoms (which I have edged with a turquoise Pan Pastel), some tiny pearls and a white 4.5cm white spiral stamen (which I have brushed over with the turquoise Pan Pastel).
