I decided to have another try at colouring on kraft card. This time I have used two of my all time favourite Sweet Pea Stamps for Christmas which get used year after year. The image above is "Poinsettia Fairy" and is available as a digital stamp and a rubber stamp. The image below is called "Holly Fairy" and is also available as a digital stamp and rubber stamp.
I have used digital stamps for both cards. It takes a while colouring on the kraft card with my Graph'its as to get the colours right you need to use darker shades than you normally do. I have inked around the edge of both images with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink.
As I coloured on kraft card I used a kraft card blank.
For the "Poinsettia Fairy" card I have used some gorgeous linen effect backing paper, topper, envelope, ribbon and sentiment that I got for Christmas. I'd love just to have a pack of the backing papers on their own as I just love the linen effect (that's why I have taken the photos at a different angle so you can see the linen effect). This card was finished off with a die-cut poinsettia and some Papermania Glitterations.
For the "Holly Fairy" card I sat the image on a die-cut decoupage wreath that is also from the linen set as mentioned above. The green backing paper is from Summertime Designs. I have finished this card off with a ribbon border, sentiment, Marianne Designs die-cut holly with red Stickles for the berries and some Papermania Glitterations.
