Bearly Mine Challenge - September 2014 - Autumnal Challenge

 The weeks are certainly whizzing by.  It is the first day of the month and therefore time for another challenge over at the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenges Blog.  This month the topic is "Autumnal Challenge" and here is a picture for inspiration:

You have a whole month to play along with the Bearly Mine Challenge so what are you waiting for???

Here is my card.  I have used the colour scheme of orange, brown, green and brown so all the colours on the inspiration picture.  The image I have used is called "Little Miss Daisy" and is by Karen Middleton and is available at Sweet Pea Stamps as a digital stamp or a rubber stamp.  I have coloured the digital image in with my Promarkers, higlighted areas with my white pen and gold sparkle pen and inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Crushed Olive distress ink.

  

   

 

The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs Simply Stripes, Plain and Simple, Vintage, Mini Dots and Simply Dots (this set has now been retired but you can e-mail Donna to order them).

I have finished the card off with crochet lace, ribbon bow, Prima butterflies, gems, sentiment from a Debbi Moore CD, buttons and some flowers (on the Mini Dots paper one side/Simply Dots paper the other side I used a stamp that was a freebie with the Craft Stamper magazine of a flower with script writing and cut these out, screwed them up, held together with a brad and put a button on the top.
