REMINDER - Bearly Mine Designs Design Team (DT) Call

Just a reminder that the Bearly Mine Designs is having a Design Team (DT) Call.  We are looking for 2-3 more Design Team members. 

We are a friendly bunch and talk via a closed Blogger Admin Blog and a Facebook page. It is not a requirement to be part of the Design Team to be on Facebook but if you want a speedy reply to a question or like a daily natter that’s the place to be!!!

Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 29 August 2014 - Anything goes

 It is Friday and time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.  This week the topic is "anything goes with a Delicious Doodles image".  Yes, this challenge only lasts for a week as we are back to weekly challenge posts.

For my floral creation I have used a "Lily paper" and a "Lily and Butterfly" digital image which are both available in the Delicious Doodles Shop.

I have printed off the digital image four times so that I could decoupage up the flowers.  You can see the decoupage as I've taken the photograph purposely at a different angle.  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and highlighted areas with coloured pencils, the Spectrum Noir blending solution and stumps.

The backing paper I have distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool and inked the edges with a green chalk ink pad.

I have finished the card off with some washi tape, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some pearls.

Birthday Wishes

Here is a card I have made using the Joanna Sheen House Mouse Project Book with CD - Volume One.  I have decoupaged up the little mice playing/eating the raspberries.

  

The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs Gingham and Simply Dots (the Simply Dots set has been retired but you can contact Donna to place an order).

I have finished the card off with some stripy washi tape, stripy ribbon, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and a die-cut flower (eight layers cut from a book and coloured with different shades of red Graph'it pens).

Happy Witching!!!

Well it's nearly the time of the year I love making cards/creations and that is Halloween.  Here in the UK it isn't celebrated that much compared to countries like America.  I'd love to be in America at Halloween time and look at houses that have been decorated.

For my card I have used an image by the ever so talented Ching-Chou Kuik.  The image is called "Divine" and is available at Sweet Pea Stamps as a digi stamp and a rubber stamp.  Ching-Chou Kuik is also selling some of her wonderful images/artwork on her Etsy Store.  make sure you pop on over and have a look.  They are stunning and I want them all!!!

I have coloured my image in with my Graph'it pens, fussy cut around the image and then used my black Pan Pastel to edge around the moon and the witch herself.

  

The backing papers I have used are from Bearly Mine Designs.  The main backing paper with the skeleton is from the newly released set called "Halloween Fantasy" and the black/white border strip is from the "Black and White Essentials" set.

I have made some flowers for the card from an old book, die-cut the layers, coloured some with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink and some with Tim Holtz's Spun Sugar distress ink, edged the black layers with some black glitter, scrunched up all the layers and held together with a brad.

I have finished the card off with a Martha Stewart web border, Martha Stewart bats corner die (just using the waste of the large bats) and sentiment off the computer.

Delicious Doodles images can be found in the Delicious Doodles Store.  There is a vast array of wonderful images there.

There is also a weekly Delicious Doodles challenge.  Pop on over to the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog EVERY FRIDAY to see what the new what the new challenge is and to see the Design Team inspiration.  You don't have to use a Delicious Doodles image to enter but you get an extra entry to win the weekly prize if you do so that is a good incentive!!

Every month there is a new challenge over at the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog.  

To enter the challenge you must use a House Mouse, Gruffies or Happy Hoppers image.

Pop on over to the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog to see the topic of the challenge and to see inspiration from the Design Team.

The Design Team on the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog is split up into two teams.  Team A will show you their creations on the 1st day of the month.  Team B will show you their creation on the 15th day of the month.  This means that there is a good excuse to pop on over to the Challenge Blog at least twice a month to see the inspiration from the Design Team.

If you use Facebook why not pop on over to the Gruffies and Guests Facebook Group.  Here you can have a good natter and show your House Mouse, Happy Hoppers and Gruffies creations.

Season's Greetings

Here is a card I have made with some Papermania linen effect Christmas decoupage that I got for Christmas.  I love the effect the line gives to the decoupage.  I have used my large dots embossing folder for the background.

I have kept this card clean and simple (CAS) and finished off the card with some peel-off gems, sentiment from the Papermania kit and some twine.

Delicious Doodles and Delicious Darkness

Christmas Blessings

 Yet another scheduled post.  I sooooooo need to get back to crafting!!!

Here is a Clean and Simple (CAS) card that I have made using a topper and backing papers I was given.  Crafters are generous sending me crafting goodies/tools they no longer need as they know I make my cards solely to sell to raise funds for different charities.

I have finished the card off with some die-cut trees, pearls and a sentiment from the Perfect Christmas Companions CD by Creative Crafting World.  At least keeping it very minimalist it will be able to be posted normally by whoever buys it as Christmas is an expensive time of the year anyway let alone if you need to send lots of cards.
