Happy Birthday

A card suitable for a little boy using this little gamer image from the Polkadoodles Work and Play 2 CD.  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens, inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Faded Jeans distress ink and added some faux stitching.

The backing papers I have used are a red-white-blue collection from Summertime Designs.  The piece of denim backing paper is from a Joanna Sheen paper pack.  I have put a piece of card through a star embossing folder and sanded back to add some texture to the card.  I didn't have a star punch so I put a piece of the leftover paper through the same embossing folder and cut out the stars.

I have finished the card off with some faux stitching, gingham ribbon, die-cut sentiment and the stars.
