Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 4 July 2014 - Anything goes with a Delicious Doodles Image

 Another Friday has whizzed around and it is time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.

Over July and August we have decided to change the challenge to last for two weeks and that you must use a Delicious Doodles image to enter the challenge.

So are you ready for an "anything goes with a Delicious Doodles image" challenge?
For my card I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Mince Pie and Sherry" and I have coloured the image with my new "best friends" my Graph'it pens.  I have inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Peeled Paint distress ink.

The backing papers are from a kit I got for Christmas which included decoupage, backing papers, ribbons, tags, alphabets etc.  All the decoupage and backing papers have a lovely linen effect.  I have embossed some green card with a poinsettia embossing folder.

I have finished the card off with a die-cut poinsettia, die-cut holly, gems, ribbon and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.

    Hi Kym,
    These colours are beautiful, deep green with deep red are peaceful together. Surely I'm not the only one now who likes to sit down with a nice glass of something and a nibble.
