Craft Storage - Recycled Sweet Tins

I wanted to make some craft storage for a special someone and this is the result.
I have made 7 little storage pots by recycling some Lidls sweet tins.  These were perfect tins to use as they are a handy size and the lids aren't too tight to get on and off.

I have painted all the tins with a couple of coats of Gesso.  Then I mixed some silver acrylic paint with some Debbi Moore silver glitter and painted the tops and bottoms of the tins.  It wasn't a quick job but I got there in the end.

For the toppers of the tins I have used pre-coloured images from Polkadoodles Work and Play 1, Work and Play 2, Work and Play 3 and Fredericka.  I have die-cut the image and mounted on top of other die-cut card.  The bottom of the tins have been die-cut as well as you can't have a plain bottom of the tin and it also hid the ingredients for the sweets!!!  The tins has been finished off with decorative ribbon and embellishments connected to what is inside each tin.
This is the "bling" tin with the Fredericka image from the Fredericka CD.
This tin holds "bows" and has a Singing Diva image from the Work and Play CD 1.
Here are a selection of "flowers" and the Secretary image from the Work and Play CD2.
This tin holds "leaves" and has the Florist from the Work and Play CD 2 on it.
This tin has lots and lots of "brads" in it and I have used the Caravanner image from the Work and Play CD 3.
This is the "brads" tin and has a DIY Queen image from the Work and Play CD 1 on it.

Inside this tin is "card candi" and the necessary foam pads" and has the Hairdresser image from the Work and Play CD 2 on the top.
Here is a close-up picture of the very useful tins to decorate and really yummy sweets!!
I am hoping the new owner of these decorated tins likes them.
