This week I was lucky to win the Paper Shelter Challenge and I had to pick three images for my prize. What a wonderful selection to choose from. In the end one of the images I went for was this character called "Life Guard on Duty!". I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens, coloured in the sand with two yellow Pan Pastels, added some clouds with a blue Pan Pastel and a cloud stencil and then inked around the edge of the image with Tim Holtz's Aged Mahogany distress ink.
The Graph'it Challenge this week is "blondie" so I have coloured this chap with blonde hair courtesy of my Graph'it 1150 (Banana), 1170 (Sun) and 3210 (Smoke) pens.
I do LOVE colouring images but I also love my CDs so I have brought them both together for this card. I have used my Debbi Moore Shabby Chic Seaside CD and used various design sheets/topper to adorn the front of the card and also as you'll see from the above photo I have used items to adorn the underneath of the card. Yes it isn't seen when the card is up but I always make sure inside/outside of my cards are finished off well.
Apart from using items from the CD as embellishments, I have finished this card off with some real tiny shells, peel-off sentiment and some ribbon (I also won a challenge a few weeks ago where Crafty Ribbons was the sponsor. I had a voucher to spend and bought some of this gorgeous shell ribbon. It is white with blue shells but that didn't match my colour scheme so I coloured the front and back of the ribbon with a burgundy Promarker).
