Here is a birthday card suitable for a boy made with a gorgeous LOTV topper that I got at the NEC quite a few years ago. He's such a cute little boy playing with his gaming console.
The backing papers I have used for this card are from Bearly Mine Designs Plain and Simple, Mini Dots, Festive Fun and Steampunk Fantasy 2.
Again as the card is geared towards a child I have used two different sized punches and punched out of the spot and blue paper, inked around the edges with a chalk ink pad and mounted on foam pads onto the card. The centre has been made a little sparkly with Papermania Glitterations.
The card is finished off with a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Hobbycutz - Father's Day/masculine
Pile it On - Use some patterned paper
Craft Your Passion - Father's Day/for the boys
Artistic Inspirations - Anything goes/all about dad
Crafty Sentiments - Father's Day/for a male

ReplyDeleteSo cute, Kym. Love your whole card. I especially liked the way you used the bg paper as a circle embellishment and then combined it with the brown dotted paper. Very visually appealing. Thanks for playing along with our Father's Day/Male challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs. Cathy xx
