Gruffies and Guests Challenge - June 2014 - Anything goes with the optional twist of "patchwork"

We are now half way through the month at the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog.

The sponsor this month is "My Creative Classroom".
For my card I have used a topper sheet from the Joanna Sheen House Mouse Project Book with CD Rom and I have used this little characters that are busy with the sewing machine and getting up to all sorts (look at that little mouse with the thread between his teeth!!).

I have used a page with various sized images and decoupaged up the main image and use two of the smaller images on the front of the card.  The rest have been used on the inside and back of the card.

The backing papers I have used from the Bearly Mine Designs Patchwork Party and Plain and Simple.  Over the backing papers I have used some stamps which I got with a Debbi Moore magazine a few years back and they are sewing related so I have used the stitches, tape measure, thread, bobbin and scissors.

I have finished the card off with some tape measure ribbon, lace bow, ribbon bow and a jean pocket/jeans buttons and a happy birthday sentiment from a paper pad from Joanna Sheen.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create - Anything goes with the optional twist to use Subway Art
One Stitch at a Time - Button it
Hobbycutz - Lace and bows

Clear it Out - Theme - anything goes and stash item - anything goes - my stash item is the stamps that I have had for a few years now that have remained un-inked until now!

  1. Kym, This reminded me of the original Walt Disney's Cinderella with the little mice helping with the sewing. It is adorable. We appreciate that you have taken time to share with us at Word Art Wednesday this week.
