Bearly Mine Challenge - April 2014 - Spring

It is the start of another month and therefore time for another challenge at the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenges Blog.

It is also time for a change for me.  I have taken over the role of Design Team Leader at Bearly Mine Designs to give Donna some more time to be creative and make wonderful papers for us all to use.

For the month of April the challenge topic is "Spring".
For my Spring card I have used an image from Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD.

For my card I have used the Bearly Mine Designs Gingham, Plain and Simple and Spring Surprise.  I have kept the colour scheme mainly to yellow, green and orange along with some hints of blue and pink - all very Spring-like.

I have decoupaged the image and layered it onto a Marianne Designs die-cut. I have finished the card off with some lace, flowers die-cut from a book and coloured with yellow and orange Graph'it pens, Martha Stewart punched butterflies, seam binding bow, peel-off sentiment and a Hobby House pearl embellishment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
