Yes I know I said I'd not be posting any more cards until later in the week but I have managed to photograph and write posts for some cards so thought I'd put them on my blog.
Here are two Easter cards made out of one topper sheet from my new Joanna Sheen Jayne Netley Mayhew Digital Stamp CD. I have cut the toppers out and all the bunny rabbits have been decoupaged. I have distressed round the images with Tim Holtz's Shabby Shutters distress ink.
The backing papers are from my Perfect Papercrafting Companions CD. I have gone for a colour scheme of green and bright yellow. I have used a Sheena Douglass floral stamp set to stamp a large and small flower out onto scraps of the gingham and spotty paper. Yes it took some time to cut out all the flowers but well worth it. I've inked around the edges of the flowers with a green chalk ink pad.
I have finished the top card off with some washi tape, peel-off sentiment and the stamped flowers.
The bottom card has been finished off with a doily, peel-off sentiments and the stamped flowers.
