Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 13 September 2013 - It's Friday 13th!!!

 It's Friday and therefore time for another challenge over at Delicious Doodles.  The topic this week is "Friday the 13th - so we are looking for horror, scary or dark cards/projects".

I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Black Widow".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers/Flexmarkers and distressed around the edge with Tom Holtz's Black Soot distress ink.  I then used a Versamark pen and drew over the spiders and then poured on some clear detail embossing powder.  I repeated this process twice to make the spiders "pop" - not that I'd want them to "pop" as I am terrified of spiders!!!  I then did some dots about the place with my Versamark pen to resemble blood and embossed again with the clear embossing powder.  The backing papers are from Summertime Designs.  I have finished the card off with a die-cut flower cut from a book and inked with Tim Holtz's Black Soot and Fired Brick distress ink, gems, feather and a sentiment from a Debbi Moore Twilight 2 Dark Worlds CD.
