Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 3 May 2013 - Something for the Guys

It's Friday again and time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.  

First though a bit of news.  We are welcoming another crafter to the Delicious Doodles Design Team.  Sarah-Louise aka Tiggertastic has joined the team and will be working with Team A so you'll see her first creation for the Design Team then.  In the meantime please pop on over and wish her a big welcome.

The challenge this week is "something for the guys".  Yes, that might make a lot of you "run to the hills" but we are always in need of cards for boys/men.  Teri has some wonderful images suitable in her shop.
For my card I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Vintage Truck".  I printed this image off, tore around the edges and inked with a Brilliance ink pad that has a slight tinge of sparkle to it.  The backing papers I printed off about a year ago and are from Summertime Designs.  For the piece directly under the image I used my metal effect stencil and used a black Pan Pastel through.  I have finished the card off with some X-cut die cogs which I have cut from white card and distressed with my black Pan Pastel, ribbon, card candi and Craftwork Cards sentiment.
