Thinking of You

Here is a thinking of you card that I have made using some Tim Holtz backing papers that I have inked the edges with my Splodge Away mat and Tim Holtz's Aged Mahogany distress ink pad.  The image called "Remembrance" is from Delicious Doodles and has been coloured in with my trusty Promarkers.  I die-cut the image with a Spellbinders die and then inked through like a stencil.  I must find out whether this can be done on the Splodge Away as I struggled to get the coverage right with a normal craft mat.  I have finished the card off with a Cheery Lynn border, pearls and a Craftwork Cards sentiment as I keep these kinds of cards to a minimum as it is what you have to say to the recipient on the inside that really matters.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

One Stitch at a Time - Use a digi
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Crafts and Me - Your favourite embellishment - I have many but one has to be pearls/gems
Inkspirational - Anything goes
Delicious Doodles - Red, red and more red
Inspire me Friday - Anything goes
