It's time for another challenge over at the Bearly Mine Challenge Blog and it's the turn of Team B to show you their creations. The challenge this week is "anything goes". Today we are being sponsored by:
Meljen's Designs who is offering the winner 4 digital images of their choice and
Marianne D Designs who are offering the above stamp and die.
For my card I have used a Meljen's Designs image called "Sick Little Bear". Doesn't he look a sorrowful little soul? Unfortunately with so many bugs going around at the moment so many people will be feeling like this bear so "get well soon" to you all.
The backing papers I have used are from Bearly Mine Designs Spring Surprise. I don't like the colour green at all but somehow this card turned out green and I thought it would be fine for a female to receive but also perfect for a male. I have coloured the images with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers and die-cut. The image has mounted on a Marianne Designs die-cut square shape which I have stitched glittery ribbon through. I sat the image on top of the square and it just didn't look right so out came my green Pan Pastel. When I put my card in the die I got tape on a corner that I didn't want and didn't notice when I used the Pan Pastel and obviously it made it look a lot darker. Out came my new toy - a battery operated eraser and within a second or two the darkness was gone. Magic. With such an intricate design I would have struggled with a normal eraser as no doubt I would have ripped it but the battery eraser worked perfectly. The pinwheel flowers and circular flowers are See D's stamps and stamped with Tim Holtz's Shabby Shutters and Pine Needles distress ink pads. The card has been finished off with some crochet lace ribbon and sentiment off the computer.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Top Tip Tuesday - Top Tip - When I used my Pan Pastel to colour my die-cut I noticed an area darker due to sticky tape having got on that area. My new battery operated eraser came into action and within a second or two the darkness was gone. Magic. With such an intricate design I would have struggled with a normal eraser as no doubt I would have ripped it but the battery eraser worked perfectly.
