Bearly Mine Challenge - 4 December 2012 - Santa is on his way

Today sees the start of another challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges.  The topic this week is "Santa is on his way".

For my card I have gone for an 8x8 card.  I have used three different backing papers from the Bearly Mine Designs Christmas Traditions Set.

The image I have used is of Santa on a skateboard - not a traditional sleigh and reindeers - but certainly a fun image.  The image comes from the Best of La Pashe 2012 CD and I have printed the page out twice so I could use the four images to decoupage up.  I have frayed some butter muslin to add some texture along with some spider ribbon.  The card has been finished off with a various Marianne Designs die-cuts which I have sponged through the stencils with a red Pan Pastel, Craftwork Cards sentiment, Papermania Glitterations, card candi, seam binding ribbon and Crafty Ann's poinsettias.
