A while ago I was asked to make a card for a little girl who like dressing up, pigs and acts very grown up although she was only going to be 12. Yikes you say? I have used a Saturated Canary image called Harley and Haley. The girl is gorgeous but just look at that little piglet!! I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, die-cut and inked the edges with a chalk ink pad. The backing papers are Gingham, The Boys Zone and Floral Dreams from Bearly Mine Designs.
I have finished the card off with broderie anglaise, embossed border details, doily, Craftwork Cards sentiment, buttons, blue die-cut mirri butterflies with gems down the centres (yes they are blue and not black but no matter how many pictures I took I couldn't get it to take better) and Bearly Mine Designs flowers with brad centres (did you see recently that Donna of Bearly Mine Designs was giving these away free. Have a look on her blog). The customer and the recipient loved the card so that was a big relief!!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Saturated Canary - B's - I have gone for blue, butterflies, buttons, brads, bling and broderie anglaise
