It is time for another challenge over at the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge. This month we are being challenges to "frameworthy" ie use a frame on your card or project.
I needed to make a special birthday card so I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by Ching Chou-Kuik called "love is gone". I coloured the image in with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers and then die-cut the image and used a chalk ink pad around the edges. I then embossed a frame embossing folder (not sure of the make as it's not written on the folder) and then used the same chalk ink pad to edge.
The backing papers I have used are from the Bearly Mine Designs Floral Dreams Digi Kit and also the Bearly Mine Designs Mini Dots Digi Kit. I have done LOTS of matting and layering and also cut in half a die-cut Marianne Designs Circle die-cut and also inked the edges to match. The card has been finished off with some lace, ribbon My Craft Studio Click-Print-Go flowers with Papermania Glitterations to their centres, gems, three dimensional acetate butterfly and Craftwork Cards sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge - Happy birthday to someone special - congratulations on your third birthday
