Kym's Crafty Cards: Aud Sentiments Design Team Card

Today sees the start of another challenge over at the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog. We had a lovely array of entries for the last fortnight so please make sure you go and check if you are a winner.

Ellephantastic is very honoured to sponsor this challenge. Hi I am Helen. I suffer with CFS/ME & found a few years ago I could no longer work due to my illness. To give myself something to do (when feeling well) I decided to go back to my roots....crafting!! I grew up drawing, knitting & 'Cutting & Sticking'. Now I like to do all kinds of paper crafting, card making, altered art, knitting & sewing. I also design & draw my own digital art. My fun hobby has unintentionally grown into a li'l crafty business for me which I am loving. There is nothing I like better than to put a smile on someone's face because of my crafting. You can order & buy a lot of my work from my shop. You can also now buy some crafting products.

The challenge topic for this fortnight is fathers and you MUST use some form of the word dad in your sentiment such as dad, daddy, father, papa etc

For my card I have used the Ellephantastic image called "Super Rog'" as I though he would be perfect for a Father's Day card. I imported the image and added a Word Art sentiment, coloured the image with Promarkers and die-cut the image. The backing papers are leftovers from a previous card and they are from Summertime Designs. I then made a star flower with various die-cuts, scrunched it up, inked the edges and added a gem to the centre. The card is finished off with some more gems, another sentiment off the computer and some ribbon.
