The Crafty Purple Frog Challenge - 5 April 2012

Well we've had a busy time with the entrants for the challenge for the last fortnight.  This fortnight we are being challenged to "let's get distressed".
For my card I have used the Crafty Purple Frog decoupage digital image called "Peacock Blue".  I got "distressed" in more ways than one as I used three of my Tim Holtz papers from a paper pad my son bought me for Christmas 2010 - well I do think I've had it to "look at" for long enough don't you?  I have used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink to edge all the papers.  I have used my Tim Holtz distressing tool to seriously distress some of the papers and again inked the edges.  Some papers bend when using this tool but Tim's papers are such exceptional quality they don't do this.  I have decoupaged the image and highlighted areas with a blue Stickles to add some sparkle and shine.  The card has been finished off with plenty of bits and pieces including doily, lace, ribbon, flowers from the Artylicious Essence of Nature CD, brads, memory wire, card candy, Craftwork Cards sentiment and some pearls.
