House Mouse and Friends Challenge - 13 February 2012

Over at the House Mouse and Friends Challenge this fortnight the challenge is "make wishes come true".

I have made this tag to go with my aunt's birthday card.  The card isn't finished as yet but needs to go in the post on Tuesday so I need to get my skates on.  As I don't want to write on the card I've made I've made a separate tag.  I have used a House Mouse image from Joanna Sheen's website called Birthdays.  I have used the House Mouse image of the little mouse that has "pigged out" on too much cake!!!  I have coloured the image with Promarkers, added some Glossy Accents to the icing for some texture and shine and cut around the image.  The small tag has been made with various shades of alcohol inks with the addition of some gold for some shine.  I then made a larger tag from a scrap of card.  I have threaded some seam binding through the small tag for the image to sit on.  The tag has been finished off with some pink/white/blue fibres, gems (as my aunt loves bling), buttons, handmade flower with brad centre and some epoxy stickers, one saying "with love" and one saying "Auntie Happy Birthday".

House Mouse and Friends - Make wishes come true (my aunt wasn't a part of my family for 20+ years due to family difficulties.  Since my mum's death last June she has been a rock and will call 1-2 times a week and has visited three times, so despite it being sad that my mum has died wishes have come true for me as I have my aunt and uncle back in my life again)
